Thank you for all of your love, support and encouragement!
There has been a lot of small things that have lead up to this time and when I look back at the last 4 years, I cannot believe everything that has happened. Back in July 2010, I was lead to make the decision to apply to the University of Hawaii at Manoa in which I was accepted just in time. I packed my bags, left my family and everything I knew, and flew to a beautiful island that I had never been to before. LEAP OF FAITH. I remember freshman year...full of so many new faces, new places, new things, new hobbies, new everything. I remember freshman year being a time of HUGE expansion in my life with lots of stretching, and often a lot of growing pains. That summer after freshman year, I found myself traveling to Ghana, Africa with a friend that was very dear to me freshman year. LEAP OF FAITH. Ghana changed my life and I learned something very important about myself. I learned that I have a passion for people and I like to learn about their culture and ways of life by watching the way they do things. And I also learned that all my years of soccer growing up was one of the best investments in my life because I can play soccer (decently well) with kids all over the world.

So after reading my college story in a nutshell, I'll finally get to my point...haha. Today was a rather hard day for me, after finally having some free time and alone space for the first time in a long time. I found myself speechless today, missing Carter, missing home, missing familiar food. I found the business school today and explored the campus some. By late afternoon, I finally found the courage to venture off campus and find a regular grocery store. About a 30 minute walk, I arrived. ...
I meandered my way to a grocery store and this is what I bought...
Then I washed all the veggies and made dinner...
Then I ate dinner while watching Life Church
and drinking Milk Tea...
Be faithful in the small things so God can trust you with the big things.
(Ruth was faithful to Naomi, faithful in the fields, etc and that faithfulness opened the doors of His blessings through Boaz)
It's the things that no one sees that lead to what everyone wants.
It's little things that are vital.
